The authors Per Wahl (born August 5, 1926 in Gothenburg, died on 23 June 1975 in Stockholm), graduated from the University of Lund in 1946 devoted its first decade of professional life in journalism (as reporter crime), whereas in the 1950s published some fiction novels, essentially a political one. Maj Sj wall (born 25 September 1935 in Stockholm), worked in the Swedish publisher Wahlstr m Widstradt in 1961 when Wahl met and married him the following year. Interested in Criminology and driven by a strong political motivation, as both were part of the Swedish Communist Party, quickly settled on writing novels, which can easily capture the reader's attention while allowing the development of intellectual debate.Through a classic detective story, but with a aprofundizaci n in the social and psychological aspects of the plot, the pair published "Roseanna" in 1965, trying to express their vision of the world in general and of Swedish society of the time particular. The relentless dissection performed on the pair of Swedish society is decaying clearly manifested in the 1980s when the famed social model began to break with the onslaught of economic liberalism.
